Raising A Good Sleeper
A workshop with Dr. Janet K. Kennedy, PhD,
Author of The Good Sleeper and founder of NYC Sleep Doctor
When babies sleep well, so does the whole family.

Starting early will allow your child to grow into a good sleeper, avoiding many of the heartaches and struggles of sleep training later on. This class teaches the fundamentals of raising a good sleeper from birth through age 2.
You will learn:

• The basics of infant sleep patterns
• How to make sure your child is well rested
• Soothing techniques for fussy babies
• How to help your baby learn to put herself to sleep
• How to teach your baby to sleep through the night
• …and how to keep the whole family well rested!

Janet K. Kennedy, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and founder of NYC Sleep Doctor a consultation and psychotherapy practice dedicated to treating sleep problems in babies, toddlers and adults. She spent eight years at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she developed the Sleep Disorders Treatment Program. Dr. Kennedy has been featured on Dr. Oz and CBS This Morning and has been quoted in Parents Magazine, NY Press, Redbook, Real Simple and the Encyclopedia Britannica website.
Dr. Kennedy’s first book, The Good Sleeper: The Essential Guide to Sleep for Your Baby (and You) was published by Henry Holt in January 2015. Already one of Brain, Child Magazine’s top 10 books on Children and Sleep, The Good Sleeper has been dubbed "an instant classic" and "a must-read for all new parents."
Dr. Kennedy lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
