HRP Mamas Parent + Child Playdates in partnership with local preschools are an opportunity to foster community with fellow HRP Mamas parents and make new friendships, while exploring a variety of preschools - and educational philosophies - in Lower Manhattan. 



HRP Mamas Parent + Child PlayDATE at Battery Park City Montessori


If you have ever wanted to learn more about the Montessori approach and have wondered if a Montessori education would be right for your child and family, we encourage you to come and experience it first-hand!

In this playdate, lead by Battery Park Montessori's own teachers, children and parents will be introduced to activities designed to foster curiosity, concentration, and independence. Families will gain an understanding of Montessori philosophy, mindful observation of their child, and insight on preparing an environment that fosters concentration and supports and enhances their child’s innate learning potential.
