A Conversation About Childbirth Options in NYC

HRP Mamas invites expectant parents for an evening with Bonu deCaires and Ceridwen Morris!

Bonu & Ceridwen, are two of New York City’s most experienced & knowledgeable Doulas and Childbirth Educators.
Whether this is your first pregnancy or you are expecting your 2nd, 3rd, 4th child - please join us to talk about how to navigate the many childbirth options in NYC to find the right fit for you.

Topics will include:

• Locations: Hospitals, Birth Centers, Home
• Providers: Doctors, Midwives, Doulas, Baby Nurses, Postpartum Doulas
• Preparation: Childbirth, Breastfeeding & Babycare Classes

This workshop will also tackle:

• How to respect the natural process of birth
• How to use medical interventions to your best advantage
• How to find your autonomy in a medical setting

And of course there will be time & space for your questions!

Feedback From Prior Attendees For This Workshop:

"The event exceeded my expectations. I was left with a better sense of the options that exist as well as which options might be best for me. For example, I wasn’t aware of/hadn’t considered having a birth doula. However, after the session, I am certainly considering it. The website references are also extremely helpful in terms of getting more detailed information (for example, on birth classes). Thanks for organizing!”

"I found it SUPER informative and comforting. I feel a lot more educated and confident, less confused, and just generally more 'ready' to tackle this. I was really impressed with the discussion facilitators and thought it was very well organized. Thank you so much again for allowing me to attend! It really was a pleasure. The event EXCEEDED my expectations.”
