About this event
HRP Mamas Invites you to a workshop on:
Prenatal/Postnatal Nutrition and Weight Management
with Chelsea Nutrition
Prenatal nutrition matters because you want to give birth to the healthiest baby possible while taking great care of yourself. Postnatal nutrition can be tricky too, between lack of time, lack of sleep, and specific post partum needs. What to eat and drink to meet both of your nutrient needs when breastfeeding? How soon can you start to exercise? How soon can I fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans? We are going to help answer all of these questions and more!
We will discuss:
- Gestation stage and macro-nutrient needs
- Critical nutrients and food sources
- Early and later symptoms management
- Maternal diet and fetal gut health
- Nutrition needs during lactation
- Postnatal depression and nutrition
- Weight management
About:
Chelsea Nutrition is a nutrition and wellness private practice focusing on adult and pediatric nutrition in NYC. Our approach is to cut through the nutrition noise and spell out the most up to date, evidence based pediatric nutrition recommendations. With the understanding that every family is unique, we empower parents with realistic strategies to provide optimal nutrition from infancy through adolescence.
Limited to 25 registrants.
