THE DEVELOPING BRAIN: What To Expect From Birth To The Teen Years

Children grow up and change so quickly that it’s easy to forget just how much their brains are developing from birth. Join Rachel Busman, PsyD, Interim Senior Director of the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute for an overview of the important stages and phases of childhood from birth to the teen years.

Join us to learn more about:
  • Amazing milestones parents can expect from birth to the teen years
  • How children’s brains change throughout their childhood and how those changes might affect behavior at home and in school
  • Age appropriate expectations for your children
  • When to consider giving more freedom and tips for how to handle it
  • When and how to ask for help if you are worried about your child falling behind
Attendees will receive the Child Mind Institute “Parents Guide to Developmental Milestones” and “Parents Guide to Getting Good Care.”
