Join a lively and interactive workshop, with special guest Dr. Sarah Evans of the Mount Sinai's Children's Environmental Health Center . Dr. Evans is an assistant professor of Environmental Medicine and Public Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Evans's research focuses on early life exposures to endocrine disrupting chemicals and brain development. She will discuss the latest cutting edge research from the Institute for Exposomics Research at Mount Sinai and explain why children are uniquely vulnerable to harmful exposures. Her talk will focus on actionable tips to protect your family both inside the home and out of doors through consumer choices, safer practices, and advocacy. A mom of three young girls, Dr. Evans is an advocate for evidence-based policies that promote safer environments for all.
