The HRP Mamas online community is a diverse, inclusive space. Parents who reside in Downtown Manhattan: TriBeCa, Battery Park City, the Financial District, SoHo, Nolita, NoHo, Chinatown, South Street Seaport, Civic Center, Two Bridges, the Lower East Side, East Village, West Village, Greenwich Village, Flatiron, Gramercy, Chelsea, Hudson Yards and Hell's Kitchen are eligible and welcomed to join HRP Mamas. In addition we have recently launched a Central Park Mamas group for mothers who reside on the Upper East and Upper West Sides. 

We offer many groups on our online community, including:

The HRP Mamas Mamas group - open to persons who reside Downtown who are mothers, expectant mothers/birthing persons, identify as mothers, or as non-binary parents. This group has been active since 2004 and is a safe space for mothers to discuss the experience of motherhood and to connect with their peers.

The HRP Papas group - open to persons who reside Downtown who are fathers, expectant fathers, identify as fathers, or as non-binary parents. This group was established in 2021 and is for advice, discussion, and meet-ups for fathers to connect with each other.


The HRP Mamas Classifieds group - open to all parents and expectant parents who reside Downtown. The Classifieds is for buying/selling used and/or new gear, finding/recommending childcare and household help, real estate/vacation rentals, and more.

The HRP Mamas Central Park Mamas Group - open to persons who reside Uptown who are mothers, expectant mothers/birthing persons, identify as mothers, or as non-binary parents.

All mamas have access to subgroups by due/birth date so that they may connect in person with each other in our neighborhood / due and birth date based chats and virtually via our weekly free mother's circles, breastfeeding support groups, and mom support groups.

Plus many other HRP Mamas subgroups as listed here. 

If you are not eligible to join the HRP Mamas online community  - please sign up to get info for our educational events. All of the educational events and parenting workshops organized by HRP Mamas are open to all --whether members of HRP Mamas, HRP Papas, or not. So be sure to sign up for announcements about these on our Educational Events page.

STEP #1


Fill in your application online by clicking here. 

NOTE: If you were referred by a current or past HRP Mamas community member, please provide their name on the application. A reference from a current member will speed up your approval, but if you are not able to provide a reference, please don't worry! Our application includes a link to set-up a virtual appointment with a membership coordinator who will serve as your reference, and get you activated - often in the same day as your application.

STEP #2


Your application will be reviewed by our membership coordinators. 

Once it has been approved, you will receive a welcome email and a link for payment of your subscription. Annual subscriptions support our organization in its mission and help cover our operational and administrative expenses. Subscriptions are non refundable.

STEP #3


Once payment for your subscription has been completed you will receive a welcome notice and be added to our private online community.
