HRP Mamas Parent + Child Playdates in partnership with local preschools are an opportunity to foster community with fellow HRP Mamas parents and make new friendships, while exploring a variety of preschools - and educational philosophies - in Lower Manhattan.
HRP Mamas Parent + Child PlayDATE at The Downtown Little School
Join other HRP Mamas and Papas for an intimate workshop on Toddler Parenting with longtime school directors Kate Delacorte and Meredith Gary from Downtown Little School – and bring your child! Children will play nearby, supervised by Downtown Little School teachers.
Topics include: daily routines, tantrums, screen time, bedtime, aggression, siblings and separation. Come ready to share your own stories and questions, and get advice from experts with decades of early childhood experience.
Kate and Meredith have led many sold-out evening workshops on Limit-Setting for HRP Mamas. Their common sense, gimmick-free approach is grounded in an understanding of child development and a belief that, while no two children (or two parents) are exactly alike, there are proven strategies that can work for everyone.
